my latest single boy, boy is out now! it’s off my forthcoming album ‘aftermath’ coming out November 1st, 2024. it feels timely to release this following my performance at Virginia Pride last weekend. I’m very proud to be who I am these days and this song is a celebration of unfettered love. the making of this song took me on a journey into new territory as an artist. I wanted to write from a place of joy while reflecting on the newness of my experiences.

‘boy boy’ is about the confusion, excitement, and euphoria that comes with putting yourself out there romantically. there was a lot to learn (and unlearn) about myself when I started to date again, especially within a new paradigm. but now I know what it’s like…to dance with a stranger, to be ghosted (and if I’m honest, to ghost), to kiss the person you catch eyes from across the room…the wondering where the night might go and finding out. it’s fun to be a boy, boy.
